It's almost that time of year again! Time to descend upon Greenwater and do our part to deforest our local wilderness!

If anyone's interested in camping with us, we'll be posted up at Ranger Creek for the weekend.
These events usually fill up quick so sign up now!
IN! How is the snow at ranger creek in the winter? Stayed there a couple weeks ago. Seems like it could be nice if its accessible.
Probably will be a few inches .Nothing crazy
We will be camping for sure!!!!
w00t!
Just registered for Saturday. I was really suprised when I mentioned it to my wife and I saw her eyes light up instead of roll. We will make this a family affair and my 1 year old will be joining us for his first off road adventure.
Glad to have you on board
Signed on for Saturday as well. Hoping to be camping as well. I just need to figure out the logistics of putting a Christmas tree on top of my RTT some how. Tie straps from Walmart I’m thinking. Has anyone done this in years past? (excited!)
I've seen a lot of whimsical tree rigging 😂
Just remember to put a folded tarp or something between the tree and RTT to keep it from getting all sappy.
@Amos Aarsvold Good call Amos! - I'll pick up a small tarp to bring.
So anyone else brave enough to camp?
I was hoping to but I'll have to make it a day trip since Rebecca bought tickets to the Christmas Story Play for the whole family on the 9th. I'll be happy to go with everyone on Saturday though!
Unfortunately my plans changed.... I'm going to have to bow out.
You're dead to me.
@Aaron Kravik 😭😭😭😭
@Gabe Engler you could make it up to me later 😛
Well i was just up there today. Started hitting snow at about 3700 feet. Should be a good time next weekend!
Was the trail icy at all Aaron? - I ran up to Sugar Loaf Peak on Sunday and coming down from 6,000 ft the trail got pretty badly icy. Curious if you experienced anything like that on your scouting trip as my chains haven't come in yet, I could try and order some cheap cables on amazon tonight though if you did encounter some ice. The situation coming down from Sugar Loaf was about 4-6 inches of powder with a sheet of ice just below the surface in some spots.
@Joshua & Rebecca Martin It was pretty compact and slick in places. Our flatbed trailer ended up getting rear ended.
As for next weekend, it'll just depend on the weather and the amount of traffic how icy it is coming down.
@Joshua & Rebecca Martin what size tires are you running?
@Aaron Kravik I swear I registered, but I’m not listed on the event page, didn’t I mess that up?
