At the 2017 Northwest Overland Rally, Judy Russell lent me her Jeep to try out during the Women's tech course time. I was definitely nervous I'd damage it but I didn't want to be held back by fear. I had a blast driving the Jeep and told Aaron on the way home that we should get my own rig by the next rally! Welp, the next day we picked up Pancho!
A year later we were at the 2018 Northwest Overland Rally and I just have to say I was just EXCITED to take Pancho on the tech course. No more nerves! Just goes to show that you gotta give it a shot. Don't be held back because people around you are more experienced and you're worried you'll embarrass yourself or not do it perfectly. If you get a chance, jump in a rig and give it a chance. I'd be happy to share Pancho with you.
Then the next time...you'll be that much more confident and excited!
Here we are on the tech course this year being spotted by the ever-impressive Amy Hopkins who was there with the first all women's off-road navigation annual event in the U.S., the Rebelle Rally.
Can you see my smile!?
