In GOT TO HAVE IT GEAR
Hi Everyone, I'm looking at CVT RTT's and specifically their more rugged "summit" line. I'll need to sleep a family of 4 1/2 (2 adults, 2 kids and a doggo). It's looking like the Mt.Rainier Extended Summit is perfect to fit all the humans and the K9 can potentially sleep in the annex. My question for any CVT tent owners. @Stefanie Cavanaugh maybe? - How do the CVT's sleep in cold or snowy weather? I don't think I'll be able to fit the whole fam into an AutoHome or similar hard-shell. The kids are 4 and 7 years old so I don't think I'd be able to convince them to sleep down in the annex just yet. Does anyone run a little heater in colder weather in a CVT tent? Jason over at Primal has a good video on the Mr.Heater. Seems like a necessity for cold weather camping with little ones. Cheers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=l2uriyGjpUA

In INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hello NWOL, I just joined up yesterday. I traded in my commuter for a 2018 4Runner in May this year and have become obsessed with dirt. I've been out on trails just about every weekend since we got the thing, put 3,500 miles on it before I even got the license plates from the stealership. My wife and I have been life long campers, and now bring our two young boys out as much as we can. We're excited to get out and start camping in more remote places that our new vehicle will be able to take us to. Attending group trail rides, camp out and events. I'm still pretty new to off-road and 4x4 driving so I've been glued to Andrew St. Pierre's channel watching all his tutorials. So much knowledge in that mans head. Looking at the events page has me excited about joining the crew here at NWOL, looks like you guys are really really active and plan some really great adventures . Looking to check out NWOR in 2019 as well. Looking forward to meeting everyone, Josh Also started a little pet YouTube project for fun. Still getting better at my GoPro and Drone pilot/photography skills. https://youtu.be/b5j6LrxLcRs
