In ACTIVITY/TRIP PLANNING
My wife and I will be running the Idaho BDR from Porthill to Lowman from July 14 - 22. We ran the Lolo and the Margurder last year, so we will be omitting those from this trip in order to complete our Idaho BDR. I just wanted to put out our itenarary in the event anyone is in the area at the same time or if anyone wanted to join up for all or a portion of the trip. We are needing to run the route southbound so we can be near data/wifi service on Sunday morning, July 15, to stream the World Cup Championship game. Here's our itenarary if anyone is interested: July 12, Leave Boise to stay at Heyburn State Park. July 13, Heyburn State Park to Roman Nose. July 14, Start the BDR and stay outside Clark Fork. July 15, After watching the Big Game in Clark Fork, we'll head to Wallace. We're gonna get a hotel in Wallace. July 16, Stay somewhere south of Blue Heaven Cabin. July 17, By pass the Lolo and stay at the Lolo Creek Campground. July 18, Pick up the BDR again at Hwy 14 and stay at Loon Lake. July 19, Head to Yellow Pine. July 20, Head to Deadwood Reservoir. July 21, Spend a second day at Deadwood. July 22, Arrive home.

In OVERLAND DESTINATIONS
We are headed north from Boise to run the ID BDR and were planning at stopping by Roman Nose Campground during the trip. However, I can’t find any formal information on the site. I have seen an informal note stating that trailers are not allowed, but in looking at satelite images of the area, it’s tough to say one way or another. There certainly looks like there could be trailers. Anyway, I’m hoping to hear from someone who may have experience up in that area that could confirm to me whether trailers are allowed or not. Our set up is capable of getting up there, so if it’s a question of access, that’s not going to be the issue.
