- NWOL BUY & SELL. . . for sale thing? We're headed up the Cassiar and Alcan to wonder about the Yukon, the usual suspects of southern Alaska and north to the Brooks Range for a couple of months. As backup power option I 'd ordered an EcoFlow River 2 Pro to take along. I won't get into the gory details of the shipping companies non delivery problems but the bottom line is, it hasn't arrived. So I've had to buy another product from REI (for more $$). Now on the slim chance the original ordered Ecoflow does arrive before we head out, I won't have time to return it until we return, which will be to late for any 30 day RMA policy. So, if all of that takes place, (and it may not) my question(s) is this a fourm I could sell this on and is this a group of users who might find somethng like this useful. I don't want to ship this anywhere it would be a hand off somewhere in the south sound over a beer or brat. I'm just sending out feelers at this time. ThanksLike
- WRENCHING - HOW TOA bad needle bearing is likely the cause of your front axle noise on a 2007+ FJ Cruiser, 2005+ Tacoma, or 2003+ 4runner. The solution is this metal backed, bronze inlaid, PTFE coated CV axle bushing for Toyota 8" front clamshell differential. Fits all 05 to current year model Tacoma, FJ Cruiser, and 03 up 4runner DOES NOT FIT AWD 4RUNNER AND FJ CRUISER. Replaces Driver side CV axle needle bearing with bushing to help control Vibration and shaft float common on these differentials. Replaces Needle Bearing Part # 90364-35010 and 90364-35008. - TRIP REPORTSInspired by the attempted NWOL group trip up to the lake, and with the following weekend free, we headed out of Tacoma Saturday morning. For some reason I assumed that the Forest Creek Jeep trail on GAIA was represented as a more maintained road than the forest road that runs parallel to it so that's the way we went. Whoops. Having never really taken my truck up anything where I had to pay too much attention, I was surprised at how well it went. There was only one spot where I had to jockey a corner so I didn't drag my awning across a tree, but other than that it was sweet. The truck is nothing special off road with it's stupid leveling pucks up front and 285/70's but the trail was just about the perfect amount of serious for it. The other truck in our convoy was a late model 4 runner with a little lift and good tires so no drama for them either. The lake was beautiful and the bugs didn't really get going until the sun went down. Wind seems to be following us around at night lately but we still got our regular amount of mediocre sleep so that's a win. We made a new friend with a sweet Toyota at the lake who informed us of the alternate route so that's the way we went down. It was much quicker. Thanks Wyatt.Like
