@Theresa B yes, WABDR is great. I've done section 2 via truck, sections 3-4 on motorcycle. There is a thin window between the snow being melted and the wildfire smoke, maybe there will be fewer fires this year.
Get the GPS tracks from ridebdr.org and the printed map from Touratech or the like.
I'm doing the IDBDR on motorcycle from Boise north with some buddies the first week of July.
BDR is a must do. It really encompasses the beauty of Washington State. All sections provide a diverse assortment of experiences, especially throughout the year. Most definitely put it on your list.
Here are some of my faves:
Quilomene Wildlife area. I've been going out there since 1998.
A group of my friends did the BDR last summer. I didn’t feel my Jeep or I were ready for it but maybe this year. Anyone here done it?
Where have you been!
How about Florence Oregon?
I’ve been everywhere man…
