The saying “build what you have” came to mind after I purchased my 2013 Subaru Forester for a family friendly vehicle. I’ve added a 4” lift kit, 235/75R15 BFG KO2’s, triple armor skid plates (oil pan, Trans and rear diff) the rest is accessories like my Frontrunner Slimline II roof rack, full size spare with mount, high lift jack and mount, ARB fridge, rhino rack batwing awning with tapered walls. I’ve recently added my HAM handheld radio with fender mount antenna and will be adding my CB as well soon. If you want more details I have a Facebook and Instagram page that I’ve updated as I’ve built my rig. @nw4xforester I’m interested to see any other Subaru enthusiasts on here, feel free to drop drop a reply or msg me!

In INTRODUCE YOURSELF
Hello, I’m new to NWOL, definitely an outdoor enthusiast as I enjoy hiking, backpacking, car camping and overland adventures! I’ve got a well equipped Subaru Forester that has taken me many places and can sustain Overland Travel when the need / want arises. I like to cook when camping and have been expanding my camp kitchen allot lately, I recently got a snow peak Iron grill table to go with my burner and BBQ and it’s been an amazing addition! I’m excited for some better weather so I can get to use it more. I recently got me HAM radio technician License (KJ7BDK) threw the NWOL event and set up a HT in my car with external antenna. My schedule makes it a bit difficult to make meets, but I’ll definitely try and squeeze in when I can! I hope to get out more and meet more people at events and I’ll be going to the NW Overland Rally next year as well as running the WABDR next July. I have a Facebook page and an instagram page for my Forester under @nw4xforester if you want to check it out. hopfully I’ll be able to add some knowledge and help as a new member! cheers and see you on the trail!
