About the event
This will be my fourth NWOL trip to Douglas Creek this year. In November... the rattlesnakes are gone, but bring your warm clothes & sleeping bags as well as some firewood please!
Vehicle Requirements: Full size friendly, but good ground clearance and heavy-duty tires are important.
Communication: CB channel 22 primary comms
10 Vehicle Limit - so be sure to register right away
This has always been a good trip, fall or spring, just challenging enough for a bit of excitement. It can be a bit chilly in November, but there's not usually much snow, if any.
We'll do a tour of the area, then proceed up Slack Canyon to our campsite near Douglas Creek. After spending Saturday night, we'll choose one of three possible exits from the canyon.
This event is great for kids, dogs, and full size vehicles that are well set-up. Prepare for the weather!
There is no charge for members... non-members are $25 to cover admin costs.
