The build is slow going because we're still setting up life and our business. But, we did add a Trasharoo that brought back from the States, took off the running boards, and added a snorkel. We've settled on one of the Eezi-Awn tents, the fiberglass shelled Dart. In the next week or two that should be added...
Now, a roof top tent: Eezi-Awn Dart. We live really close to their factory/showroom. We just popped down, ordered it in the color we wanted, and dropped it off to have them install it. I had them use their load bars instead of a roof rack because I don't plan on running anything but the tent up there.
We'll be camping in a couple of weeks in the Kruger National Park.
It's been great! People are so friendly, life is pretty kicked back. Natasha is happy to be with her family. It's taken us a little longer to get the business up and running than we thought, but by the end of January we will be kicking it. I took a job teaching at a university remotely, but I don't start teaching until March. Once those things settle and money starts coming in, we'll really start exploring!
Nothing else done to it. We ran a week long trip in the Wild Coast of South Africa. Dobinsons were amazing with a loaded truck (180L of fuel, 50L of water, camping gear). Our next trip is in April into the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park.
Nice!
Mmm
3.0L and factory auxiliary fuel tank...
Jason,
You are going to paint this thing, white, right? :-)
I was think Forest Service Green...
@Jason Lovato Oooh.... Like this?
@Dan Cronin uhhh I was thinking more green than that.

Looks great, @Jason Lovato! How are you guys adjusting to life in ZA?

Out in the Kruger National Park last week...
Looks good! Needs stickers :)
I agree! It only has two right now: A Colorado Native bumper sticker on the spare wheel cover and an Always Explore sticker from the PNW.
In the Kruger National Park last week.
It got Grabber AT3 tires last week, and a Dobinson lift this week...
Hi Jason,
This is great to see one of our own, thriving in South Africa. Any updates on the Prado?

Very cool. Keep sharing, Jason. We are loving the updates!
