I have always been an introvert and afraid of taking chances. That changed after I bought my Jeep and joined a local FB group. Last May I stepped out of my comfort zone and went camping with 2 men that I had gotten to know from the group. I remember thinking, "I can't go camping alone with these guys" but then I remembered who these guys were and the experience they have and that if they tried something "funny" I have my protection (.38) and I have Casper. I made up my mind to go, so I used Amazon and had an air mattress that would mold around the space in side of my Jeep same day delivered. I stopped at the store and bought a salad kit for dinner because I didn't have a way to cook and my friend said he could make me coffee the next morning so I was set. It was a long cold night in the back of Casper but I survived and I am so glad I did and that I got "my first time" out of the way. I have now added certain items that stay in the back at all times (including a sleeping bag and the air mattress). I can not wait to go out and camp in Casper again with friends, make memories and add to what is always kept in Casper.

I always tell folks that the first piece of equipment on any adventure isn't lights, winch or roof top tent. Rather, a willingness to get out of your comfort zone if for just one minute. That minute will last a lifetime, as it pours value into your bucket of experiences.
Just make a decision, get in your vehicle and take a drive. drive experience is by far the best tool in your inventory.
