Cooking and Eating Healthy on the Road

Driving and eating have a negative connotation together - many people think we eat unhealthily or survive off simple food.

But we actually eat better than we did at home! This is partly due to the extra time we have for preparation, but also because of the ease and joy of cooking in well thought out kitchen set-up.

I have to give a shout out to FBC (Freezer Bag Cooking). Think home made Mountain House. It's more of a backpacking thing, and is a great supplement for fresh sides when overlanding. Sasquatch potatoes is a family favorite; especially if you add a bit of velveeta.
