ADVENTURE TRAVEL ENTHUSIASTS DEDICATED TO OVERLAND EXPLORATION
100 watt portable panel (no solar controller) like new condition.
The panel has only seen limited use since I bought it. Performance-wise it met my needs handly. I only power a single bank AGM battery in my turtleback trailer, and for topping off a dometic PLB40 battery.
For me, the single con to this unit is its size. The panel is about 44x22, and that is just to much real estate in my rig. I have stored it in a roof top tent while traveling, to get it out of the 4Runner, but for me that's just not ideal...especially if the trailer doesn't accompany us on a trip.
The panel is the same as the roof-mounted version, except this one has the carry case integrated into it. I have considered keeping the panel (removing the carry case) and roof-mounting it on a roofrack eventually, but I don't see that happening any time soon.
Can you talk a little bit about your experince with this unit and what you liked and matbe didn't like about this?
