So, what types of trips do the members like?

I am a returning member after a number of years away. I have been overlanding for over 30 years. About 15 0f them with the Pacific Coast Rover Club. After retiring I now like to take at least one trip a month primarily in the central and eastern Oregon areas but also journey to Nevada and NorCal. My wife and I travel with a Jeep Unlimited Rubicon that is diesel powered and a small trailer with RTT. We enjoy moderate double tracks and scenic camp sites where we attempt to cook up good tasting fresh meals and enjoy them around a camp fire if the weather permits. Being new doesn’t mean I cant jump right in unless I hear otherwise. I wanted to see how many members would be interested in short (3-5 day) excursions into the Oregon back country and where people would like to go. We just finished running Section 3 of the Oregon Outback Discovery route which is low key and doable by most SUV’s. There’s a lot of country in Oregon and Washington to see from the Steen’s Mountains, Alford Playa, Christmas Valley area, Hart Mountain Refuge, as well as NE Oregon. I would also like to understand the protocol if there is something different than the basic safety, health, and welfare concerns. I’m looking forward to hearing from a few of you if your interested. Best- John

Hi @J.K. Miller! Welcome aboard! Were you guys down in the Alvord area last year? I swear we saw a diesel Jeep JKU pulling a teardrop and could have sworn it was you guys!
