INTRODUCE YOURSELF

Hi everyone, my name is Shane, and I am an addict! An addict of spending money to go out in the woods and get muddy and lost. Well, not too lost!

I travel with my copilot in life and on the trail - Audrey and our “beasty” Texas Healer - Gracie May. I am originally from Longview, WA and now reside in Salem, OR. I have been offroading my entire life, but nothing that contained any kind of organization. We started getting into the Overlanding community last August. I quickly realized that my old vehicle, although very capable, was not what I wanted to build as an Overlanding vehicle. In October, we purchased an ’18 TRD Off Road Premium 4Runner with KDSS. Next Spring, we are planning a 3 week adventure that will take us offgrid for hopefully over 1k miles through Montana, Wyoming, and Utah.

As eveyone knows, its a very expensive process and will forever be a work in progress to build a capable overlanding rig. My build so far consists of:
