Hello from the Southern Willamette Valley
Long time wanderer who never knew that there was a definition for our disease - I guess they call those of us who love to wander far from the pavement "Overlanders"!
Based out of the Eugene/Springfield area I love to explore new areas and enjoying spending time with others with the same affliction... err hobby.
I must admit that to get my wife to go means dragging the Jeep behind our motorhome as the Princess does not sleep in fabric enclosures ;-) I on the other hand consider a ground pad and a tarp acceptable.
I'd love to get another chapter started in the south valley for folks in the Eugene, Springfield, Cottage Grove, Creswell, and Junction City areas. There are a lot of great areas to explore around us and beyond. I'll be at the NW Overland Rally and would love to chat with folks who would be interested.
Welcome aboard, Rick! Great little setup you have! My dad is sporting the same style. Seems to be a nice hotel on wheels after a few days of overland travel. Very cool!
