Gaia GPS, tablet and mount?

I know this has been asked before, but stuff changes so quickly. I’m sorry to repeat question… I’m planning trips around the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver Island… so I need some suggestions.

I have a ‘97 Discovery, I’m looking for a good GPS/app/tablet/mounting solution. I found Gaia GPS and I think that might work, but does anyone have recommendations for a durable tablet and a good mounting system?

Thank you!

Between onX, Gaia, Backcountry Navigator, Google Maps, iOverlander, and All Trails apps I keep coming back to Gaia and Google. I know others have enjoyed the Garmin Overlander but you're locked in to that proprietary system. I use my android-based Google Pixel phone and have an old Garmin road GPS as a backup and to log miles and hours.

My go to mounting hardware includes multiple RAM mounts temporarily auctioned onto the windshield and permanently bolted into dash trim. I also use RAM (x3) on my motorcycle given the sturdy reliability.
