Hank, Kai and I headed out way North of North Bend into the gorgeous realm near the terminus of FR 57. Its now snow-free all the way to the end, which is terrific, and was not the case two weeks ago. We set up camp along the North Fork of the Snoqualmie river, made some cocoa and the rain swept in. Despite being hemmed into a very narrow canyon, I was able to reach out to home with APRS at 50w. Quick overnighter, but its good to get out of town. Good times, just an hour from Seattle.
