Snowshoeing at Lonesome Lake - 1/26
Let's go play in the snow on Saturday January 26th up forest road 75 to Lonesome Lake. We did this last year as part of a snow camping trip and Chris brought snowshoes. I thought it was so fun I went out and bought myself some and I'm planning to snowshoe all the way around the lake.
If you're not up for snowshoeing, you can have a camp fire in the parking lot and hang out. Last year Aaron did an impromptu recovery class. But you should be prepared to hang out for awhile. I have one extra pair of snowshoes if anyone is interested.
If time and conditions allow, we can explore other side roads with great views.
I am NOT planning to camp this year.
I submitted an official event for this outing - not sure how long it takes them to show up on the site.
Meg and I may end up doing this on Sunday with our neighbor Ira and his rig. Sadly can't make saturday
