August 17 Day Trip in the Wenatchee Area
A friend (or 2) and I are looking to make a day trip on August 17th or 18th somewhere in the Wenatchee area. I was thinking maybe Douglas Creek but I've never been and I'm not sure I really know where to go.
Does anyone want to join us and maybe guide us to some cool areas? Or does anyone have a recommendation for a road to start on that we can then just go explore or a destination to try to get to?
The least capable rig is probably my stock 4x4 Expedition (good tires, no locker, don't care about the body); It made it fine up to Gallagher Head lake.

Still trying to get out on Saturday, but I’m looking for at least one other rig to tag along so I’m not out there alone.
I’ve been looking at some of the Liberty area stuff as a possibility, but I’m open to suggestions.
I’ll probably drop off my passengers in town and head back out into the woods to camp for the night.
