Day Trip - Saturday, Nov 20

I'm going to make a day out of it on the 20th.
My route will depend on snow and whom of you are wanting to join me. I'm planning to explore in the area of Stampede Pass, but that plan is still very fluid, and I'm willing to entertain other location suggestions.
I'm planning to bring a pop-up tent and stop for a nice lunch & conversation.
Any takers?
PS - Depending on the game time of UO vs. WSU, I may also do a scouting run on the 14th

With this past week of weather, I suspect that Stampede pass may be a bit too snowy for me. I'm not trying to get myself into trouble here.
My next two ideas are
A) Bethel ridge above Rimrock Reservoir on Hwy12. I have a loop that should have a lot of nice views if it's a nice day. Rattlesnake Trail could make a nice lunch stop. I've seen photos but never been there myself.
B) Outside Randle, also on Hwy 12, is my familiar loop that has spectacular scenery, lots of waterfalls, several cool campsites, and a cool fire lookout.
