Hi. Can you recommend an easier weekend trip? Warmer is better since the kids will be tent camping. I'm in the Seattle area, so something not too far away. Looking to head out late Fri and return Sun afternoon.

I have a stock Jeep GC Trailhawk Ecodiesel, Schutt trailer with Tepui tent. I've done some off road trail driving before, but I'd like not to get stuck and would like to avoid snow. I'm relatively new to overlanding.

I could also use some advice on if I need to buy any paper maps or if GPS is fine (and what paper maps to buy), and what recovery equipment I absolutely need to get before heading out.
