We recently did a trip down to the Redwoods however, wasn't off-road at all. Check out The Trees of Mystery attraction. It's a tourist trap but a pretty cool little hike. As for trails check out the Mcgrew trail( it's down in southern Oregon and I've heard it's a pretty fun little trail.
